Advertising Purple Sage
Purple Sage a local food caterer, this series of advertisements aims to promote its business as a caterer able to provide a unique experience to every occasion.
The main concept for this advertisement is to use origami to bring out the uniqueness of the catering service Purple Sage provides. Origami means “paper folding” and it uses various types of materials to create different forms reflective of our surroundings. Although it uses little materials, being able to create a form out of a paper gives one a great feeling of achievement. Each fold and crease a representation of Purple Sage’s values to provide creative, innovative catering services and concepts to its clients. Also a symbolism of its staff's patience, sensitivity to details/every step.
All posters show a menu item from each section of the company’s menu from the Appetiser, Main entrée and Desserts. The origami pieces are folded to resemble the Cherry Tomatoes, Steamed Fish and Mocha Panna Cotta from the menu section respectively. This series of three shows the wide variety of food menu that Purple Sage has as well as its unique way of presentation.
